beau·ty /ˈbyo͞odē/
A combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight.
Beauty is colors that exude warmth, an invitation, and love. It is laughter, the sunset, the sunrise, fire in the firepit, a cluster of constellations, and the full moon. Beauty is natural hair that displays royalty. Beauty is make-up, the perfect cut-crease showcasing crimson shadow with nine pearl stud chips. Beauty is also getting completely lost in a good book. Beauty is your deepest desire.
Many gather beauty by the way someone looks. Some put it together by the way someone behaves. In school, boys judged beauty by the color of a girl’s complexion and then by the length of her hair.
In my Beauty category, I will spotlight all types of gorgeousness, from kinky hairstyles, colorful make-up, and cool clothes to the organic outdoors and a single mother providing a safe place for orphans to live (Mother Hale).
In any form, the public responds to any attempt to rehabilitate and maintain beauty, and that is because our desire for all things pretty is strong.
As I am remembering, beauty is love, healing, education, mistakes, and triumphs. All of those things, and more, I plan to explore.
CIAO BELLA!
