While enjoying the lockdown, working from home, and wearing sweat pants, I had easy access to my kitchen, pantry, refrigerator, and pots and pans. I baked a lot. I cooked a new dinner every evening, and made a big Sunday breakfast two to three times a week. I enjoyed the opportunities my additional free time offered, but my waistline did not, or maybe it did because my belly was always full with vegan foods of many flavors and colors.
I cannot blame the quarantine on my entire weight gain. Menopause was a factor. Aging too. And I can go on. But truly it was me. I lost control. I moved from New York to New Mexico 11 years ago, and the next thing I knew, I gained 30 pounds. My clothes didn’t fit properly, which led me to purchase items in the next size up!
I tried to lose weight on my own but could only shed five pounds. I had to try something different. I heard about Keisha Ka’oir’s Ka’oir Slimming Tea and decided to try it because I needed help.
The tea advertises a healthy weight loss drinking organic and natural herbs. The herbs included lotus leaf, root of kudzu vine, peppermint, and fennel. I knew of lotus leaf, peppermint, and fennel and therefore knew I would like the taste. The most interesting visual part about the product is the nylon tea bags. I made the tea every day or every other day. I let it steep for 2 hours or more (if I forgot) and used no sweeteners to drink the ½ cup beverage. For me, an herb drinker, the tea was naturally sweet.
The first day drinking the tea my colon experienced a cleanse four times, the second day, three times, then two times, and finally once a day until the regimen was complete. However, on the last day of treatment, my colon experienced a cleanse three times. Nothing was over excessive. I was satisfied. I tried to figure out a schedule to take the tea to when it would work. Just when I had it figured out the tea showed me a different schedule. I felt a little cramping but I was fine. Overall, I lost eight pounds! It was noticeable in my face.
I will retake this program again in a few months. A clean colon is essential. I plan to update my meals with whole grains and vegetables and cut back on (or stop eating altogether) frozen plant-based meats. Rice has always agreed with me on all levels. My weight is controlled and as a type 1 insulin-dependent diabetic, my daily sugar levels are always good when rice is part of my daily diet.
Keisha Ka’oir’s Ka’oir Slimming Tea has reopened doors for me and I cannot wait to walk through them.
